Hi All,

My name is Thomas Martineau and I’m an Interactive Multimedia Developer Student living in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. There are two things that I’m very interested and passionate about, first web design and development, and second sustainability in all aspects of human life. My partner Sarah and I have decided that because we are both very passionate about sustainability we are going to launch a joint venture in order to pursue that. We will be launching a site/blog devoted to all areas of sustainability and we will both be authors looking at it from our unique points of view. It is in it’s preliminary stages of conception so more to come later.

So why am I going on about this for? What’s this blog about then? Well I decided that I still wanted an outlet to talk about and demonstrate my interest in my other passion. This blog gives me the opportunity to showcase what I can do when it comes to the technical and creative aspects of what I do. I am far from an expert so this will also be about learning and problem solving in both development and design, and hopefully about experimentation. As anyone who has followed this blog knows it has gone through some changes so some of the older content may not exactly apply but I will leave it there as more of who I am.

I am excited about finally finding a way to follow my wanting to be a web developer and designer, but still be able to have an outlet for my passion for sustainability and pushing change. I hope to push both these brands as far as I can and maybe one day merge them. Social media is the way of the future and I will use it to it’s fullest in these endeavors.
